Hi there, I'm Brittany Purcell, the proud owner and artisan behind Rustic Carolina Creations (RCC). My journey into the world of woodworking began with a deep-seated passion for creating art. What started as small-scale collectibles and wall art has now blossomed into a full-fledged woodworking venture.
My Story
Welcome to RCC, where my journey began in 2017 with a focus on decals and shirts. However, in 2019, I embarked on a transformational journey into the world of woodworking. With determination and little experience, I combined my artistic talents with the beauty of wood, starting with humble pine wood from the local hardware store. In 2021, I discovered my true passion lay in working with anything but pine, taking the biggest risk of simply starting something new and embracing the possibility of not being perfect at it. Over the years, I've learned countless lessons the hard way, paying my own "tuition." Fast forward to 2023, and RCC has come a long way, with the privilege of crafting numerous significant pieces of furniture. Collaborating and growing my knowledge from other talented woodworkers has impacted me more than I could ask for. Here at RCC we pride ourselves on four core values: quality, honest clear communication, never creating the same cutting board twice, and making one-of-a-kind products that are fully customized. We strive to provide our customers with unique and high-quality pieces that they can cherish for years to come.
