Engraving

Oil
Engraving is the process of imprinting a picture into wood. There is no more powerful way to display something so memorable to you. This process is longer than the other ones we work with, but it sure is worth it. Stains or oils can be added onto to give it a final finish. Lighter stains and wood work best to not distort your picture.
Epoxy has been around for ages, but we are just now figuring out some of the amazing uses it has. It can be used to enhance wood by covering the top or creating depth by placing it between wood pieces. Epoxy isn’t limited to wood though, it can be used alone in mold combined with glitter, flowers, or other small pieces to make lasting coaster sets, jewelry holders, and flower preservation boxes.
Oiling wood provides protection from water damage which can cause splintering plus it brings out the natural beauty of the grains with deepening the dark sections. By enhancing the colors, it allows the genuine color of the wood to shine through. Primarily, this is used on charcuterie boards and natural wood tables.
